Khao San is a farang district all right.. you see them all over
southeast asia... the indelible print of backpackers on a country's
cultural landscape, how and where they all gather together to make
use of the cheap food, cheap drinks, cheap souvenirs and cheap sex
a country has to offer. I forget to add cheap accommodation too.
And all in the name of contributing tourism dollars.
